Creating Community Connection by Reading with Our Elders

Many elders are suffering from increased depression and dementia due to isolation during COVID-19.

Students build confidence from reading aloud. Comprehension improves when loving adults read with them, ask questions, discuss the reading.

So, we brought 12 students together with 12 elders to read, dialogue, connect and share.
